Preschool Ministry

Providing a safe, happy, Christian learning environment where every child learns of Gods unconditional love is the purpose of the Preschool Ministry.

Preschoolers are active learners. Our programs enable them to explore, discover, create and construct by involving their senses in a variety of age-appropriate activities. Teaching from a Biblically-based curriculum, we strive to develop in each child positive attitudes toward God, Jesus, the Bible, self, others, the natural world, family and church.

The preschool years are highly productive. There is no other comparable span of life in which a person learns so fast. During this intellectually fruitful time, we begin the process of introducing children to concepts related to God. Our goal is to establish a foundation for faith upon which all of life can be built. We count it a blessing to participate in a preschoolers spiritual growth and development.

Programs throughout the Year

Sunday Morning Bible Study - Babies through Kindergarteners learn through creative age-appropriate activities.

Sunday Morning Worship - Children four years old and younger continue learning activities in their classrooms during worship. Kindergarteners attend worship with parents and are invited to participate in our childrens message time each week.

Music and Missions - Our Music Makers choir (four year olds and kindergarteners) offers your child the opportunity to learn more about music and sing about Gods love and meets from 6:00- 6:45 pm. Then from 6:45- 7:30, your child can be part of Mission Friends where he or she will learn how the love of Jesus is shared in different cultures around the world. Join us on Wednesday nights during the school year for these exciting opportunities!

Childcare - Top-quality childcare is available during many regularly scheduled activities.

Special Events

Vacation Bible School - An exciting week during the summer for fun, making new friends and learning of Gods love, VBS is open to children who are entering Kindergarten through completed 6th grade.

Parent - Baby Dedication- New parents are invited to participate in a recognition time during worship.

New Kid in the Pew - As part of Fall promotion day, Kindergarteners are given a specialgift and are recognized in the worship service.

Childrens Night at Christmas - In December we have a wonderful evening of fun for the children while parents attend adult Sunday School parties.
