Forward Together

We have an opportunity to change what comes next.

Our church currently carries more than $10 million in debt, all of which is associated with the building we currently worship and minister in. In March of 2027, our interest rate is scheduled to increase by 2%. This equates to approximately $10,000 additional dollars per month.

That means the time to act is now. Our goal: Reduce our debt by $1.2 million by March 2027.

Every dollar of debt we eliminate creates more room for ministry, mission and people.

Why This Matters Now

If we don't make meaningful progress toward this goal, we will have to make approximately $120,000 in annual ministry expense reductions.

We don't want to respond to increased financial pressure by pulling resources away from ministry. We'd rather move forward together.

When Debt Goes Down, Ministry Can Go Up.

Every dollar we remove from debt gives our church more flexibility to invest in the things that matter most:

Reaching more people with the Gospel

Supporting and expanding ministry

Serving our community

Caring for students, families and seniors

Responding to opportunities instead of being limited by financial obligations

Investing in the future God has placed before us.

Debt reduction isn't the destination. It's what becomes possible on the other side of it.

Everyone Can Be Part of Moving Forward

Give from what you already have. Some people may be able to make a financial gift. Others may have assets, retirement distributions, time, skills, or creative ideas.

Make a Gift

Whether it's $25, $100, $1,000, or more, every gift moves us forward.

Give from Your Retirement Distributions

For those who are required to take Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs), a qualified charitable distribution may allow eligible individuals to direct funds to the church while potentially avoiding federal income tax on the donated amount, subject to IRS rules. Talk with your financial advisor or tax professional to determine whether this applies to you.

Give an Appreciated Asset

Give an Appreciated Asset

If you own appreciated stock, property, or another eligible asset you've considered selling, donating it may provide potential tax advantages compared with selling it first and donating cash. The church can generally receive and sell an eligible donated asset, with proceeds going toward debt reduction. Consult your tax or financial advisor before making a gift.

Give Your Time & Creativity

Maybe your family can host a garage sale, students can organize a car wash, your small group can create a fundraiser, or you can come up with an idea we haven't thought of yet. If it can help us move forward, we want to hear it.

Have an Idea?

We want to hear it. Maybe you've organized a fundraiser before. Maybe you have an asset you'd like to explore donating. Maybe you see an opportunity we haven't considered. What is one idea you have for helping our church reduce debt?

Let's Move Forward Together.

The goal isn't simply to owe less. The goal is to create more freedom for ministry. We believe what happens next matters, and we believe we can get there together.

Will you be part of it?
