What is Midweek?

Midweek at FBC Waxahachie is a casual, family-oriented time for food, fellowship, and learning centered around the Bible, for all generations–kids to adults.

When in Midweek?

Most Wednesday evenings from 5:30-7:30.

Chick-fil-A dinner is available for purchase beginning at 5:30. Students open gym also begins at 5:30. At 6:00, the pastor's Bible study begins in room 120, followed by adult small groups for men and women at 6:30.

Kids activities for babies 6 months to 5th grade take place in the NextGen Kids hallway. Choir rehearsal begins at 6:30, and Contemporary Worship practice begins at 7:30.

Here’s what we have planned:

NextGen Kids (Ages 0 – 5th Grade)

We have engaging and fun activities lined up for our youngest members, helping them grow in their faith in a safe and nurturing environment. Registration is not required, but please sign in at the desk.

NextGen Students (6th – 12th Grade):

Our youth will have the opportunity to connect with one another and dive deeper into their walk with Christ through discussions, worship, and small groups. Open gym beings at 5:30, followed by worship at 6 PM and small groups at 6:45.

Pastor’s Bible Study (6:00 PM):

Join us as Pastor David leads a Bible study, Thrive, a verse-by-verse journey through 1 Peter. The class takes place in Room 120 from 6-6:30 PM.

Men’s and Women’s Studies (6:30 PM):

In six lessons, Savior explores Jesus' life, death, and resurrection—his sacrifice, mission, and the kingdom of God. Discover how Jesus transforms lives, works for your good, and shows God's unchanging faithfulness.

We can't wait to see you there!

As always, Chick-fil-A will be available in the cafe for $7 beginning at 5:30 PM. We can’t wait to see everyone there as we gather together to learn, grow, and encourage one another in our spiritual journeys.

If you have any questions or need more information, feel free to reach out to the church office.
