Visit First Baptist Church Waxahachie

We exist to help more people meet and follow Jesus-- and you're invited! Join us for one of our two Sunday services.

Where to Park

We have plenty of parking available. We have a large parking lot in front of the church, facing 287, and on the north end of the building along Park Place Blvd. Look for the helpful volunteers or the golf cart to shuttle you to the front door.

There are several handicap parking spaces in both lots, and we have a number of wheelchairs available for use.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, we have both! On Sunday mornings, we offer childcare for babies through preschool in our kids' hallway. From 9-10:15 AM, we have Kids Church in room 149 for Kinder-4th grade. Our Student Ministry meets from 9-10:15 in room 150. Finally, 5th and 6th graders meet for "Area 56" in room 114, from 9-10:15. Look for more information on all three ministries under the Ministry tab in the navigation.

First Baptist wants you to feel comfortable from the moment you step through the doors. Attire ranges from Sunday best to a t-shirt and jeans. Typically, the attire for the Classic service is more reserved, with dresses and blazers more common. The Contemporary service tends to be more casual. But, please wear what you feel best in.

Each Sunday, we live-stream both services in three places: on our website, in the Church Online tab, on our Facebook page, and on our YouTube page. Choose the one that's right for you.

Our friendly First Impressions volunteers are ready to answer your questions at Guest Central (the semi-circle desk near the front doors). You can also fill out a connection card and our church staff will get back to you within a few days.
