Plan Your Visit This Sunday

A welcoming church in Waxahachie for you and your family

We’d love to meet you!

Join us this Sunday at First Baptist Waxahachie — a welcoming church for individuals and families. We’ll help you know exactly where to go, what to expect, and how to get connected.

When Are Sunday Services?

  • We gather for worship every Sunday at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM
  • You can follow along online, too, on our website, Facebook, and YouTube.

What Are Our Services Like?

  • Our 9:00 AM Classic Service features a choir- and instrumentalist-led worship experience, with beloved classic hymns and a robed choir leading us in timeless expressions of faith. It’s a beautiful blend of rich musical tradition and heartfelt worship, offering a meaningful way to connect with God.
  • Our 10:30 AM Contemporary Service features a worship-band-led experience with modern worship music, a relaxed atmosphere, and a more intimate setting. With lower lighting, a full worship band, and songs from artists like Elevation Worship, Hillsong Worship, Bethel Music, and more, this service creates an engaging environment for encountering God through music and worship.

Where Do I Park?

We have plenty of parking available. We have a large parking lot in front of the church, facing 287, and on the north end of the building along Park Place Blvd. Look for the helpful volunteers or the golf cart to shuttle you to the front door.

There are several handicap parking spaces in both lots, and we have a number of wheelchairs available for use.

What About My Children?

We love having kids at First Baptist Waxahachie! We provide safe, age-appropriate environments where children can learn about Jesus, build friendships, and have fun while you worship. Childcare is available for infants and toddlers, and our Kids Church provides engaging, Bible-centered experiences for children through 4th grade. Students in 5th grade through 6th grade can also participate in Area 56, a ministry designed specifically for this important transition. Our team is here to help you know where to go and make your family’s first visit easy and comfortable. Students in 7th- 12th grade participate in Bible study together at 9 AM, then attend the 10:30 service together.

Frequently Asked Questions

First Baptist wants you to feel comfortable from the moment you step through the doors. Attire ranges from Sunday best to a t-shirt and jeans. Typically, the attire for the Classic service is more reserved, with dresses and blazers more common. The Contemporary service tends to be more casual. But, please wear what you feel best in.

Each Sunday, we live-stream both services in three places: on our website, in the Church Online tab, on our Facebook page, and on our YouTube page. Choose the one that's right for you.

Our friendly First Impressions volunteers are ready to answer your questions at Guest Central (the semi-circle desk near the front doors). You can also fill out a connection card and our church staff will get back to you within a few days.
